Jan Kopinski first met pianist Wojciech Konikiewicz in 1985 when touring Poland in a bleak post martial law with his group Pinski Zoo. (They recorded a rare album 'Live in Warsaw' with Wojtek at The Warsaw Jazz Jamboree). Their collaboration continues with Jan and Wojtek touring several times in Poland and here in the U.K.Zone K is the trio based on their musical partnership. On this series of live U.K. Recordings they are joined by regular Pinski Zoo drummer Steve Harris
